Managing Variables in UiPath

Robotic automation is the application of software to automate tasks and processes otherwise performed by humans. To Simplify, robotic
automation is software automating software. The goal of robotic automation is an improved customer experience and operational excellence through increased efficiency, performance, and agility in the day-to-day activities across the enterprise.

UiPath Variables

In UiPath Studio, variables are used to store multiples type of data. Another key aspect of variables is that their value can
change so that you can, as example, control how many times the body of a loop is executed.

The data stored within a variable is called a value, and it can be of  many types. UiPath  support a large amount of types, ranging from generic value, text, number, data table, time and date, to UiElements.

The Variable Panel:

As the name recommends, the variable board is utilized to make factors and empowers us to make changes to them. the four fields are namely name, variable type, cope and default in the variable panel.

Note: By default, all new variables are of String type if you create them from the Variablespanel.

How many types of variables

1). Generic Value Variables :  The generic value variable is a type of variable which used for wide range,it can store any kind of data, including text, numbers, dates and arrays, and is particular to UiPath Studio.Generic value variables are automatically converted to other types, in order to perform certain actions. However, it is important to use these types of variables carefully, as their conversion
may not always be the correct one for your workflow.

2). Text Variables :  Always a  text or string variable is a such  type of variable which used for only storing the strings. These types of  variables can be used, for example, to store names, passwords or information extracted from a table. As a example you need to store data like name, last name, usernames etc in text variable.

3). True or False Variables :  The true or false variable, also known as Boolean, is a type of variable that only has two
possible values, true or false. These variables enable you to make decisions, and thus have a
better control over your flow.

4). Number Variables : Number variables are mostly used for storing the number . ie. Integer or Int32 value.

5). Array Variable : An array is a variable containing multiple values. If you need to store numerous estimations of a similar kind then the exhibit variable would be reasonable. You can store the same number of kinds of clusters as there are sorts of factors in UiPath.

6). Date and Time Variables : The date and time variable is a type of variable that enables you to store information about any date and time.As the name proposes, this sort of factor empowers us to store data about any date and time.

7).Data Table variable : it is a container which mostly used for storing huge information. Data table is combination of rows and columns. It act as a database or a simple spreadsheet with rows and columns. These variables can be useful to migrate specific data from a database to another, extract information from a website and store it locally in a spreadsheet and many others.
